Kosas and 14e Cosmetics Foundation Review
I have been loving the Kosas Tinted Face Oil and the 14e Cosmetics Aloe Nourish Foundation for a while now and thought I would do an in-depth review of both products.

Funny enough, I was never someone who was into foundations. I only wore BB creams or spot concealed where I needed it. Somehow, foundations always seemed like a mask to me and I was only going to use it for special occasions.
A few months back, I was looking for a new organic base product that had light coverage, looked super natural and had good ingredients. During that time Kosas came out with their Tinted Face Oil and I thought, this could be exactly what I am looking for.
Kosås Tinted Face Oil
45€ for 28g

Kosas describes their Tinted Face Oil as 'skincare meets makeup' and that's exactly how I would describe it too. The main ingredients are avocado oil, meadow foam oil, raspberry seed oil, green tea seed oil and other great ingredients making this a really hydrating product. It blends into your skin so easily and the foundation blurs any pores, making them almost invisible. Your skin is left with an evener skin tone and a satin finish. The texture is very liquidy and I would start with just 1-2 drops for light coverage and blend it into the skin. You can build the foundation to medium coverage by adding another layer. But: Less is more with this product!
The key to making this foundation look great on your skin is a good skincare prep.
It took me a while to make this product work on my skin and here are my two tips:
Your skin should be exfoliated and very hydrated/moisturized because the foundation tends to cling to very dry and flaky patches which is not the look we want to go for, trust me.
Try blending the product with a buffing brush instead of your fingers. This gives you a more flawless finish and doesn't cling to dry patches as much. You can also use a beauty blender but I always feel like it soaks up too much product. I would use it for final touches.
The Tinted Face Oil is a really great discovery for me because it looks so natural and it looks even better after you've worn it for a few hours. I would recommend it for all skin types except really oily skin types.
I have the shade 03 which is light with neutral undertones. The Tinted Face Oil comes in 10 shades, but they recently extended the shade range to 16. The product is vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free.
14e Cosmetics Aloe Nourish Foundation SPF 23
49€ for 30ml

When I tried a sample of the 14e Cosmetics Aloe Nourish foundation I didn't really expect much, but oh boy I fell in love quickly. This foundation contains such great ingredients that are really hydrating such as aloe vera, argan oil, and jojoba oil. In addition to this, the product has SPF 23 and it's great for soothing breakouts. The formula is really creamy and has a semi-matte finish providing medium coverage. You really don't need a full pump of it, I usually dispense 1/3 of a pump and apply it on my skin.
The trick to making this foundation look flawless is to be very quick. Apply it all over your face and then blend it in with a buffing brush.
It minimizes your pores, reduces any redness and gives you an evener skin tone while looking completely natural. You don't feel the foundation at all on your skin and it's really hydrating. I would recommend this foundation for all skin types.
Since I love this foundation so much, it's just a matter of time until I try the sheer tint which has less coverage and is better for every day.
I have the shade Sand - 02 which is light/medium with a neutral or yellow undertone. The range comes in 10 different shades. The product is vegan and cruelty-free.
